Despite a few minor inconveniences, my stay at La Ballena Backpacker was overall enjoyable. The hostel has a charming ambiance, with beautifully decorated rooms and a clean common area. The kitchen, although small, was equipped with the essentials for cooking. The people working at the hostel were friendly and kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The location is convenient, with shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, and several beautiful beaches within walking distance. The WiFi connection was reliable, and there was hot water in the spacious bathroom. The hostel also offered a clothes cleaning service, although it wasn't the best. The fresh air at night made for a refreshing sleep and a great start to each day. Despite the occasional noise from the street, the hostel provided a peaceful outdoor area to relax and unwind.

The best aspects of my stay were the great location and kind staff. The hostel had a nice balcony with a beautiful view. The private room I stayed in was clean and had air conditioning, which was a definite advantage. The wifi also worked well, so I was able to stay connected during my stay.

The worst aspects of my experience were the uncomfortable dorms and lack of proper isolation. The shower was not properly installed and only had cold water.
